ONGOING ISSUES WITH MY PROCHARGER SETUP................
I will have them check that out...
Just a thought,
Mike
Now the belt really doesn't slip, but it walks off, we are close, its just an alingment issue...
I drove the car around on motor for a little today, very smooth....
Now it grips without shredding, I sanded/repaired the gouging near the idler on my ATI bracket and the new crank bolt seems to be holding... I gotta get back to the track and see what 10 to 11 PSI will do for me.

in retrospect, it just seems that ia bracket brace is a good idea!
bigbos, do you have any pics of the support bracket you had made?
it could just be rotten luck but it's worth pondering:
i use carquest belts, never had one snap on me ( ecxept when i had the tensioner bearing seize up) while in a run.
well i decided to use the belts napa has to offer; and guess what happened! it didn't even last 24 hours. i put it in last night and retightened it today.i put a good 150 miles on it before i tightened it again. well i was racing a friend and all of a sudden just as i'm shifting into 3rd "snap!" . the belt just snapped.
now this could just be bad luck , but of all the belts i frayed and wore out from carquest, i never had one snap under load, but the napa one did. could the belt snapping issues big bos had be caused be crappy belts?
as a side note , a friend told me to ask for dayton cog belts . he said they are not actual cog belts but just carry the name and are the toughest out there.
I was trying the Gates at first and it was the same issue with those....I will see how the NAPA's do...
Are the carquest belts the same material and what not, what would make them stronger?
i guess the carquest belts are a different maker.
I just need to get the alingment straight for now....

Were close though...
