aem UEGO wideband installation??
aem UEGO wideband installation?? k i just have a question about the installation.. there 4 wires to hook up, red, black, blue and white. now the directions say...
-RED (Power) Connect to a 10v-18v power source.
-BLACK (Ground) Connect to a clean grounding point.
-WHITE(Analog Output) Connects to any auxiliary unit with a 0-5v input.
-BLUE(Serial Output) Connects to a RS-232 com port. (This output is optional)
- red.. go to a constant power source or ignition power?
- black.. is pretty obvious haha
- white.. dont know what an auxiliary 0-5v input is? please give example or where to find or hook up to
- blue... it says optional... is it? and if not.. what is an RS-232 com port? and where is it?

White can be hooked up to hp tuners or you can hook it up to your EGR wire is you dont have EGR anymore. You can then log it on your hptuners.
You need to hook up the red to ignition power only, if not your wideband would always be on.

i dont have hptuners or egr any more, when the car is all done im bringing it directly to the dyno to have them base tune it then having them flash the computer on the dyno and do i need to hook up the blue wire? thanks
oh ya by the way monello, you build helped me the most and was the one that convinced me to start the build! haha thanks for all the help that you gave me that you didnt even know about!

Yea dont worry about the blue or white wire unless your going to be tuning it yourself. I would leave the wire hanging under the dash hidden somewhere incase you need it in the future. Some tuners can use that wire to tune your car.
