LS6 Intake

Is this worth hanging onto with FI or just run the stock ls1 intake? Might part with this for a meth kit.

Can go wrong with the extra air flow. If you already have a decent intercooler I would keep the ls6 intake. What is the rest of your setup? I just switch from my ls6 intake to a edelbrock vic jr but I ran 9.00 with the ls6. Was it the best option, no but it worked decent.

So is there a difference on a boosted car between a LS1 and LS6 manifold?

No, the air will be forced in there either way. The LS1 might cause a slight bit of restriction causing a little more boost (you prob. won't be able to measure it), but the same amount of air is going in either way.

depends how fast you plan on going, when I had a P1SC and running high 10s on a stock engine the car picked up absolutely nothing going from an LS1 intake to an LS6 intake.

I would probably keep the LS6 intake if you already have it.
