Well first of all its a 6.0L 402 with LQ9 heads cam is for boost, compression is 9to 1. M6 with twin disk clutch for 1200hp. Dana S60 rear 3.54 gears. Stock tranny. We did my exhaust out of 3in oval tubing and stuck some pieces in the origional intake tubes and put clamps on them, works good tubes have never sucked shut at any boost and have over 1500 miles on the kit.

The highest we could get the boost on the stock springs was only 17psi but on the street they just keep pulling so we feel that they will go to 20psi no problem with new 10# springs. Bad news is the springs wont be here til Monday and dyno is tomorrow.

As for tires I had been running BFG 315 30 but they were worthless on the street even at 10 psi at 17psi u can hit it in 4th at about 80 and just smoke the tires. I am getting my new Mickey Thompsons tomorrow they are 305 35 im hoping that the taller tire will help a little better.

I will make my own thread tomorrow after i get back from the dyno and it is a dyno jet a texas speed. I will also finally get to use my new HD camcorder. Will post tomorrow

Do you have the large kit or the small kit?

Excellent thanks for the info. I am planning same rear end with same gears. Is yours pretty quiet? I am prepared to swap in different gears if get a loud one and likely will check the settings before even run the rear end.

Exact cam specs would be nice unless you are keeping them secret. If you are you could pm me and give you my word won't give them out without your permssion. Always interested in seeing what works and what don't. So much cam theories out there. Very little actual dyno comparison testing. Stock 1.7 rocker ratio in your car?

Shame about the new springs. They can usually do about double their ratings as said which is maybe one some guys said they had trouble with dropping boost on their turbos. I had to go bigger in my talon to get past 20psi with 10psi springs in there.

At least we should see a 17psi dyno and on dynojet much easier to compare numbers.
Thru an m6 would think 17psi should be close to 800rwhp but dyno will tell. Sounds good on the muffler tubes to keep the inlets open. Might just do same thing. Why pay hundreds to aps when can fix it ourselves for cheap.

Are you running front sway bar stock or aftermarket?..and if so did you do the spacer and endlink thing so the bar don't hit?

Ok the standard kit. Many of us are wondering what are the limits ot the standard kit on a 402 or 408.
I am targetting close to 800rwhp on my auto swap but also have ordered upgraded center cartridges for my kit off ebay. Had a turbo that needs fixing anyway.
