Faster spool time with JBA shorty header

Faster spool time with JBA shorty header Well last summer i did some changes to my car which included, fuel rails, redid the valve seals on my heads, oil restrictor for the turbo, JBA shorty header, and flow through muffler.
Well with the cut out open i used to reach full boost (10psi) at 2900rmps
with the cut out closed id have it spooled up by 3100rpms
after the change i did this summer, it flet like it was spooling faster, but i never watched when it would be spooled
well last night i did a couple of 4th and 5th gear pulls to see were it would spool
with the cut out closed through my new muffler it hit 10psi at 2900rpm
with the cut out open it would reach 10psi a hair before 2700 RPMS!!
granted the new muffler would help the spool time when the cutout is closed, but the only explanation for the faster spool time when th ecutout is open would be the new passenger side JBA shorty header.
