Ive also heard the new Weiland street warrior was built stronger then the LS6
I remember reading about it when they showed it at Sema last year.and supposedly flows better then the LS6 by 32hp and 31ft lbs of torque. i was actually thinking of buying one and insatalling before my tune

Even if this was the case on an N/A motor-which I would have to see real world testing to believe anyhow, it would NOT be the case in an FI app as the air is being compressed into the motor and flow characteristics of an intake aren't going to come into play unless you're talking well over 1000hp. Frankly, it would be a waste of $$ on a HP gain standpoint. I'm running a ported LS7 intake shooting for 1300rwhp to give you an example.

Bolt them to an old set of heads or make a plate of metal on it and the TB location with your air fittings etc... Like a leak down tester so you can test different presures and increase it slowly etc... I wouldn't stand any where close when you get above the 18lbs etc...

Bolt the intake to some boards or something with the seals still on the intake that should work

Thick sheet of perspex bolted to it.....

Solid wood might do, not sure how airtight it would be though. If the compressor supplies enough air, it might be ok.

Or a bit harder, a chunk of steel, or Alu.

Or finally, if you have a pair of heads sitting about...bolt it up. Would be interesting to see when the intake valves open too under pressure ( dont forget to plug the rocker bolt holes if the heads are ported and have broken through )

How you going to get a good seal to pump the air in through? Still, I wouldn't stand near it

getting air in is easy.

There are various smaller fittings you could use, after blocking up the TB hole too of course.

FWIW, I once sealed a tire valve stem in a small Poland Spring bottle and filled it just over 90 PSI before it blew. And that plastic is much much thinner than an intake manifold.

I did this as a prank to scare the sht out of a co worker
