sts exaust question

where should I put a resinator?? in the I pipe or after the turbo?? I want to quiet it down but not lose performance. I currently have no cats and no orm of muffler and I am going with a full mandrel bend exause from the manifolds back. Im going with 2 1/4 " y pipe and 2 3/4 " I pipes (stock size) but mandrel and want to quiet it down at the same time. thanks

Most commonly i see people put them in the ipipe. you can always put something on after the turbo if u have the room

Most guys with the butt mounts weld in a bullet muffler for their dump if they want to quite things down. I wouldn't install anything on the hotside (between the exhaust manifolds and turbo hot side), it will just hurt flow to the turbo (slower spool, etc.).
