Default what would u do

i have had the car down for a year and am ready to get it going again. but ive been out of the loop. what shortblock would u use with my heads/cam/inj. ect? considering both of these for the money....402/408 c.i. , 6.0L LQ9 iron block, Eagle 4340 forged crank, Eagle 4340 Forged H-beam rods, Forged JE pistons, JE pro seal rings, Clevite H bearings, ARP studs, Balanced and Blueprinted from xtreme horsepower in north richland hills or 6.0L 415 Truck Stroker Short Block

· GM 6.0L Truck Cast Iron Block (4.065 Bore)

· 4” Stroke 4340 Steel Crankshaft

· 6.125 H Beam Connecting Rods

· ARP 2000 Rod Bolts

· Forged Flat Top -4cc or -25cc Pistons

· 1.5mm Power Pack Ring Set

· ACL H Rod & Main Bearings

· Digitally Balanced Assembly

· Fully Assembled & Blue Printed
from Schwanke Engines LLC or Tim's Automotive Center LLC

Id go with the smallest bore, on the block. 4.065 will be a custom piston, and strange. Id go 030 over, unless you have to go bigger. Better sonic check it to be sure though.

Id run the big dish.....I get mahles at a good deal in the -28 or -32 cc area.
Other then that, the only thing I might do different would be total seals, but if your not concerned about every last hp, no big deal. If you dont plan on racing it once a month or more, dont worry about it.

If your je's use the 1.5 1.5 3.0 rings, beaware that getting rings is alittle harder. Most are 1/16, 1/16, 3/16's on the package, and more choices because of it.
