what would u do
what would u do i have had the car down for a year and am ready to get it going again. but ive been out of the loop. what shortblock would u use with my heads/cam/inj. ect? considering both of these for the money....402/408 c.i. , 6.0L LQ9 iron block, Eagle 4340 forged crank, Eagle 4340 Forged H-beam rods, Forged JE pistons, JE pro seal rings, Clevite H bearings, ARP studs, Balanced and Blueprinted from xtreme horsepower in north richland hills or 6.0L 415 Truck Stroker Short Block

Id go with the smallest bore, on the block. 4.065 will be a custom piston, and strange. Id go 030 over, unless you have to go bigger. Better sonic check it to be sure though.
Id run the big dish.....I get mahles at a good deal in the -28 or -32 cc area.
Other then that, the only thing I might do different would be total seals, but if your not concerned about every last hp, no big deal. If you dont plan on racing it once a month or more, dont worry about it.
If your je's use the 1.5 1.5 3.0 rings, beaware that getting rings is alittle harder. Most are 1/16, 1/16, 3/16's on the package, and more choices because of it.
