So Close, But So Far.....
The problem we had is that the belt is now slipping BAD, and we had enough tension on it to break the pins on the crank pulley....so now they are going to drill and tap it and put it back on...
Now..
Whats the next belt size down from 40.8" thats an 8 rib...
Also we are going to try the 3.3" Reichard racing pulley that I have...
On a good note......
The brackets don't flex
The belts don't walk
The steel idler is doing fine
The tensioner is maxed out and the belt still slips....maybe the reichard will pull through?

Went out and bought a 39" Dayco 8 rib belt, going to combine this with the "ultra grip" Reichard Racing 3.3" blower pulley...
Car is probably going back on the dyno early next week....
Maybe having the belt 1" shorted combined with the pulley should stop the slipping....
