looking into turbo set up. need your input! Alright so here is my dilemma....for the longest I was debating on supercharging or turbo, It looks like I made up my mind going turbo. Here Is my setup m6 02 ss camaro with 226/230 @ 112, ls6 stage 2 ported patriot heads,cnc ported 202 intake, 160 exh stainless steel valves,they flow 300 cfm at 600 lift, hooker long tube headers,fast 90 intake, nick williams throttle body,12 bolt with 4:10 gears,I do run 150 shot from nx right now, but Im tired of refilling bottles and you dont always get the full shot ect. I dynoed at 420 hp on motor....what turbo kit do you guys think I should go with and still run A/C? I still have stock bottom end so I know Im limited on boost also....I dont know much at about forced induction but love they way they sound. there is nothing like having that kind of power all the time!! The thing is I see alot of good deals on here and am afraid to buy because I dont know if that is what suits me the best, I am hoping you guys can save me from being the guinnea pig on this one! Its a lot of money to buy a turbo so I cant afford to screw up lol! also on the set up that I have would I have to change stuff to go turbo, or do you think I can make good power with what I have? i am currently piecing some stuff together for my turbo build. so far i have just over 2k in it. when i am done i should only have about 3k in it. the turbo is a turbonetics tc78 and cost me 1k. i am running the c6/truck manifolds to allow me to keep the ac. but with this i have to buy a bmr turbo k member.
