try to sell the LM1 and buy a AEM or at least some other wideband. Nothing but problems with LC-1 and LM-1 widebands, those things are junk

I had the LM1 setup, but switched over to AEM.

The sensor is from a 1999 Volkswagen Beetle 1.9L turbo gas. The Bosch part# is 17053 the Napa stock# is R702102, I pay $48 for mine from Napa.

I have both the LC-1 and LM-1, had the LM-1 for a few years now. They've both treated me just fine.

then your one of the lucky few, i have seen a 35%(approximately) failure rate on innovative widebands myself, its not just a coincidence, there was a poll on this site that had a staggering # of failures, just search for it

Yea, I've read all that stuff. I've had my LM-1 over 2 years and my LC-1 has been installed in the car for a year now. "Knock on wood" they've both been good to me, and are consistent as far as readings when I have them both in the car. I'm not a die hard tuner. Just my car is all I've used them for so far. The only prob. I've had with mine is I let the LM-1 cable get too close to the exhaust and I melted it a little. Still works fine tho.

haha, yeah there isnt much room for these things with long tubes. I had a LM1 myself once, it broke after 2 months and i had to send the box in to be fixed. I have since had 4 different AEM UEGOs and none of them have had a single problem, with each being used at least 1 year continuously. Another thing is that damn big *** LM1 box, where the hell do you put it? Not to mention the 30 second warmup, hard to setup cold start fueling when you dont have a wideband during the cold start

I usually have it on the console next to me so I can watch it while tuning. I also have it tied into my laptop for logging. I have the LC1 permantly intalled with an XD-16 Gauge as a security blanket when I don't have the LM-1 and laptop in the car. . I've been meaning to make up a serial cable so I can log both banks simultaniously....just haven't gotten it done yet. I looked very closely @ the AEM's before I purchased my LC1.
