bs3 boost control ?'s

I was thinking about using the bs3 to control boost to simplify things from my eboost2. looking at the boost drop down there is a PWM duty cycle table and also a "desired boost" table, i cant find any info (not even in the manual) about this setting, i also see that there are PID settings so im assuming it can run boost in closed loop, if this is the case why do you need the duty cycle table?

For some reason I've never seen anyone use the boost controller on BS3. I guess it's a little bit of a pain needing the laptop for all the changes every time.

yeah i tought about that, but i feel like im going to run the same boost on the street all the time and at the track ill always have the laptop in the car for data logging anyways

Hard to find info on BS3 boost control. I've thought about playing with it since it has boost vs mph built in. Resolution on the mph scale is a little big. I have not seen one post here or on yellowbullet with BS3 controlling boost...may be a secret weapon...lol..
