Default Rear mount oil return locations??

I am getting ready to install my rear mount DIY kit. I have seen the STS kit returns in the oil fill cap, others return above the oil line in the pan. my question is because i am using a pump to return the oil to the pan, can I remove the oil level sensor and return the oil there?
Has anybody done this????

just tap the oil pan and do it that way. It sucks to have to pull the pan but hey you would have no issues. Engine hoist are cheap now-a-days.

Bad idea, look for the APS twin kit or the d1 or p1 supercharger kits, I found a pdf copy of the install book online somewhere and used the same place and size as they did in the oil pan.
