Question Oil loop, sans turbo ?'s

I dont think it will hurt anything but I just wanted to be sure, Right now my turbo is off and I just have the feed line ran to the return pump and its just cycling, but the pump is loud and I wont be putting the turbo back on for a few weeks, just wondering if it would hurt to remove the signal wire to the relay for the pump so it wont run to save some noise and if the line staying pressurized would hurt anything, or hurt the pump? (Mocal pump)

plug the feed, cap the return, and leave the pump off.

Interesting...I have the same situation, as the car is going to be sans turbo for a few days.

Think I'll just park it.

Mine has been parked but needs to be driven to places for further mods, first the exhaust work, (going to a 2.5" pipe from the y to the turbo) then to get the cam springs and Push Rods done.

I was really killing myself on the spool, not only did I go to big on the feed pipe, I had 4.10's and no wrap at all. All on a .96 a/r. Honestly I didnt think it was that bad, it would spool around 2600, but from what im told I wont think its bad till I get it fixed and see how much better it is.

Now I have a 12bolt and 3.73's still not the best gear but that's what it came with so im rocking it for now, im going to do 2.5" and wrap all the way back and see if I can make something happen.

Thanks for the suggestions on the feed stuff, I bought a 1/8npt plug for the oil feed line to just cap it where it comes out atop the filter. Im just so scared its going to leak and i'll never know it driving it.
