Tensioners and Superchargers Anyone want to talk more about good Tensioner setups for a centrifugal blower?
How does the stock one fare? If you use the stock, how do you really control the belt tension if you take the time to measure it?
How does the Katech adjustable tensioner fare?
Anyone take the time to check their belt with a tensionometer like Kent Moore sells?

Anytime you have the option I would go with a spring loaded unit unless it is a dedicated race car (and then I would still give it a shot). With a manual tensioner you end up cranking it town very tight, which isn't good for most of the bearings as they don't like lateral loads, or at least don't handle them as well (not to mention oil seals, etc.)

Mmm, is the stocker spring loaded?
Would you keep the stock tensioner and then only try the Katech if you have problems?
Stock isn't adjustable, eh? If belt tension isn't in range you are kinda screwed, right?
