What kind of piston rings for F.I. engine?

What kind of piston rings for F.I. engine? I've got Diamond dished pistons... I'm not sure if the diamond rings are woth anything or not on a turbocharged LS1.

well after doing my engine and having as much blowby with it, instead of using what came with my JE pistons, i wish i would have used helfire rings, i plan next spring to have them redone with those.

I used the Diamond file to fit rings that came with the pistons. They are working very well. Good oil control, no excessive blowby, no smoke. I went .022 gap on the top 2 rings. You can get varying opinions on the ring gap.
yes im pretty sure they will, you just need to give them your piston specs, aka build card.
also child alberts (spelling?) makes a good ring, they would be my second choice.

JE pistons normally come with hastings rings, which are pretty good rings. Really most any plasma moly normal ring set will be broken in by the time you set valve lash - before you even fire up the motor. If you are getting blowby I would guess it is either the finish put on the cylinder wall or the ring gap - do you know what it was set at?

I used the rings that came w/the diamonds, they were $175 I believe, so far no blow by and the motor has seen 14psi....as soon as the COGS come I'm shooting for 15-16psi.....I need to get the twin 340's installed though first...
