7.80's are right around the corner
LOL, That is a awesome MPH. I am sure with all the mod's done to the block and o-ringing,half fill. A LSX Block would cost the same???
None the less, this is badass, but for how long is the question! If this setup last the whole season without gasket change, then you are on to something.
Time will tell I guess. BTW, I am not bashing, just considering the cost factor either way. 7's here they come for ya!

LSX blocks already have the mains pinned? I have one in my garage and I wanted to check it out but haven't had the time.

Talking about the LSx block, mine has the same double o-ring, same block fill but adds a main girdle. We've got 2 good platforms to test with now.

Are the heads oringed or is the block o-ringed. We didn't o-ring nothing on my setup, BUT, I am not racing it like you guys do.

Completely different animal I know but a friend of mine has a 434ci SBC (15:1 18* heads, etc.) and his block is half filled, he runs it on the street, he says it runs hot but not enough to really cause problems. This is in a C4 if that makes a difference.
