Cutting K Member Ok??

Cutting K Member Ok?? Well my new turbos have a 3.25 inch inlet, and there way to close to the K member where they bolt to the motor mounts. So I need to cut off about 1/4 inch on each one to clear and make new inlets. From the looks of it, it wont hurt anything, just want to see what you guys think. Forgot to add its a BMR..

The part is cirlced in RED. Its just the corner part. up to the weld on the back side that we can't see in the pic.. Need to do that on both sides. Thanks

allot of people have done that for clearance for exactly what you are talking about, dont think anyone has had a problem for doing that, least none that i have heard here.
