remote turbo...pump location?

remote turbo...pump location? i use a Mocal pump on my set up...i have the pump around 2.5 feet from the turbo and was wondering if getting it closer is ideal??...how far away are others??? thx,mike
The sts kit puts it by the fuel filter.
I think I'm going to put mine up between the gas tank and trunk towards the drivers side. Along with well insulated mounting to keep the noise down. I want it on the same side of the axle as the turbo so there is less chance of the pump losing prime.
