Default Intercoolers: side flow vs top/bottom flow, work as well? pics inside.

Im looking at several large intercoolers that will be able to flow enough for the 700-800 rwhp.

This flows 2200 CFM (good for 1600 hp) for $650. Flow on a intercooler comes from the amount of rows. The longer the tube is the more time the intercooler can cool the air and more efficient it is. But i was going to use a NX intercooler sprayer on the intercooler which from tests weve done here at the shop drops air temp like 50-75 degrees (awesome actually).

So can i get away with this intercooler for the setup im doing?? I dont want to pay $1000 plus for a wide larger one, plus im out of room for a larger one.

this is a standard one that is the same size but flows side to side (less rows but alot longer), flows enough for like 600 hp....So i cant fit it in my chassis

corkey bell's maximum boost, states that intercoolers are better top to bottom, or more rows the better, instead of fewer longer rows.
