I took the turbo inlet off, put my 1 bar map and my 1 bar tune back on and tested the car out, the car absolutly flys.

You don't need a lift to pull out those headers, just some blocks of wood a jack, and some jack stands.

Just because it is setup per instructions doesn't mean you are not getting it.

Did you have a dyno prior to and post install?

You deffinately need to listen to everybody about the headers. Thats a KILLER on spool time. Trust me, I know cause I have a STS as well. I'm selling mine though and going NA 383 and later a Maggie. My car pulled like a son of a bitch on only 5psi, but in first, almost nothing. It wouldn't make boost and it didn't start till about half way threw every gear, then as soon as it hit full boost, it was time to shift again because the damn 4.10s the previous owner had in it. That was also with a T76 though. If it had more boost and 3.42s it would have been a complete monster. Don't run to low of rear gear, no headers, and maybe turn the boost up a little. Also, some people don't realize it, but the filter skin that comes with the kit is VERY restrictive. I saw a dyno of a car that had it on vs. off and it was over 30hp difference. I think it was actually more like 40hp that it robbed.

Im gonna work with what I got for now, I know how fast the car should spool as a buddy of mine also has an sts kit on his fbody... Im gonna keep the wrapped headers FOR NOW until I can get something differnt, but until then i gotta work with what i have.... however the cam is a MUST change... and I will be changing that out very soon, package ships today.

I get it, I'm just saying that your still probably gonna be wondering whats up even after you change the cam. Thing is though, does your buddies car have wrapped headers or does it have manifolds?
