Made up mind...going for boost
Well, the '98 Restomod project is coming along quite nicely......bodywork is done, just bought a gallon of Sebring Silver Metallic to spray on it today.....but, more on that when I update the Restomod thread (which is WAY overdue...sorry, I work for a living)....
anyway...
I crave MOAR!!!!!
so, I've decided to build a pressurized 6.0 for it.
Now, being a budget-minded man (ok, cheap) I really would like to carry over some parts I have on the 346 to the 6.0.
My questions are:
Will my 232/234 .595/.598 112lsa help or hurt making power on a stock bottom LQ9 under 6-8psi intercooled? Would a LS6 or stock LQ9 cam yield better results?
If I keep the cam, do you think the PT4000 is overkill? What about with a LS6 or stocker LQ9?
Keep in mind, my goal is mid 10's. I'm not trying to set records, just want to be able to keep the crowd at Dallas Raceway impressed. If that is possible with a stocker LQ9 on boost, great. If not, I'm looking for bare minimums here.
