Could not find a exact compressor map for that setup but I would say the 700 rwhp would be for both turbos combined. Plus you don't want to run the turbos at the maximum, as the efficiency will be really bad. Low efficiency will cause lots of heat production. If you run the turbo in its efficiency range that will cut down hp it can support by quite a bit. For example a typical T76 compressor can produce enough air flow to support 90 lb/min (~900 fwhp) at maximum output. However, if you want to run it were its efficient you get ~60 lb/min (600 fwhp).

70lb must be per turbo, could that mean the two combined are good for 1400fwhp, but 1200 efficiently...so your math pans out I guess. Obviously 700 rwhp would be more like a realistic goal I think.

I can't see any TO4 sized turbo supporting 70lb/min each, just seems unrealistic.

Thats the type of response I'm interested in. That is however what the manufacturer (Limit Engineering) of this Hybrid is claiming. Gary, this may seem like a silly question, but do you know the formula or best way to calculate actual flow capability?

If John at Limit Engineering is quoting those numbers then they are achievable.
He does great work, he built me some custom compressor housing. See if he can dig you up the compressor maps and such. You still do not want to run them at max flow.

You need a super computer to do the calculations, unless you just want ball park #s. Most people who have computers programs are doing really simplified analysis.

Yes, it was john...what a superb operation and person he seems to be in general. Thanks for the reply. I just didn't want to "bother" him again. When I become fluent with this stuff, which I will eventually, it will be easier to carry on more serious converstions.
