how much boost do you plan to run? how much are you looking to spend? i'd get your bottom end forged if i were you and get some 6l heads for low compression, and get a cam thats setup for boost.

if you plan on alot of track runs i'd invest in a new rear end. im not to familar with FI, even though you feel you didnt get help in the FI section, i still feel thats the best place to get info.

be more specific about your application and what you want to do instead of just asking a broad question like which s/c or turbo to get.

i'd get a turbo setup myself, there not cheap though

Cowboy I'm suprised you haven't gotten any help in the FI section. I usually get pretty quick responses in any section on this board. Narrower questions are generally better recieved in the specific forums however, I've noticed. Add some info and narrow the question down, repost it.

I definitely concur with jrp concerning the forged bottom end. I'm looking to do a forged 383 stroker with a ATI on top of her...should be a beast(first I have to start by gettin a T/A first.... ). Depending on the boost levels, you will want to replace other things. Driveshaft, rear end, et cetera.

S/C is a cheaper route to go. More kits out there, they are simpler to install(from what I understand). Also you have power to play with 24/7. Turbo's are fun, but expensive, and lag more. Much more difficult to install a turbo in a f-body, most are custom jobs. Good luck either way.

I think the stock bottom end will hold about 7-9 PSI after that you defiantly need to go forged internals. You will need to upgrade your fuel system if you run much boost and will also need a good tune. A different cam is almost always necessary when going FI. Good Luck man
