Default Another option for the puller fans

I put in the Taurus fan and wired up only the high speed side. I bought a tyco 75 amp relay to go with the fan. This fan moves some serious air. The down side is that it is pretty thick. It never went over 190* on my 30 min drive once it was warmed up.

Thanks. I haven't been back to the track. I just got the rear end last weekend and my drag bar was put in yesterday. I'm going to be busy so I don't know when the next time I'll be able to go, but the car's ready

Yeah, the Taurus fan is a BRUTE. First time I tested one on the bench it damn near flew out of my hand... Instead it sucked the block of styrofoam it was packed in from 2 foot away and made it snow in the shop. LOL.

It's pretty stout. Hopefully I'll be able to test it out this weekend

Hmmm... Not familiar at all with this...

Looks like you have some room there though (upright radiator).

You wouldn't prefer a dual puller set-up? Is this better?

Looks good. I wonder if I can fit that in my blower car setup. Do you happen to have the dimensions of the fan? I found out that the fan is a Ford 8C607, that was used in 90-95 Ford Taurus.

Part number is F8LH 8C607 AA. Google it and you will find plenty of info on it..I got a question for the OP. Can you post some pics on how you mounted it on the bottom? The fans dimensions are 22 x 18 x 6, and the Griffin radiators dimensions are 27.5 x 15.5 . So is the fan hanging down 2.5" past the radiator?

I'll have to get some pics from the bottom, but due to my awesome new schedule that continuously changes, it may be a while.

Question? isnt the Taurus fan a two speed. The factory has two fans, dont they kick on at different times? If so run two relays using the triggers from both factory harness connectors for the two stockers. Then your Taurus fan will run on two speed and you can configure during tune.

Would this work or do both stock fans come on at same time.
