Question HSRK on ProCharger?

I'm having major heat soak issues on my Procharged G8. I want to put an HSRK on it but not sure of the best way to mount it. General consensus of those I've asked seems to be that the standard grommet mount won't work as the boost (10 lbs) will blow the sensor out.

I'm thinking of welding a 1/2" NPT bung into the steel intake tube (last ridgid tube before the TB) then using epoxy (probably JBWeld) to attach a short length of threaded pipe around the sensor. That thread then screws into the bung leaving the end of the sensor sticking into the airstream.

Any comments or better ideas? Thanks!

Weld a bung in with a 3/8npt and use a sensor and pig tail connector from a sy/ty.
