^^^^ aluminum will hold up to temps like that on the down pipe ?

No I have not made one yet, would be glad to answer any questions you have. The car is a stock bottom end/stock head's motor and made 750 rwhp through an auto. Working on getting the thing to the track. Sorry about the thread hijack.

Digging up an old thread for a question...

For those who run the downpipes down the drivers side, do you have to swap to a manual rack or can you still use the factory rack and pinion without major problems?

Any pics around the R&P would be nice too.

All sick setups, im gonna be building mine soon, and will definitely look at this thread for a lot of info. Im pretty sure its gonna stay on the front of the k member though.

On the aluminum DP, most of the ones I have seen are stainless or MS and then have an aluminum transition later down to keep the heat from being an issue. Is yours straight aluminum?

Are you guys running without the front sway bars? In some/most of the pictures I didn't see them, so I wasn't sure if they were just removed for the install or if you're running without them completely?
