I know someone here can help me out with this. What is the hose coming of the head unit for? Can I reference something off of it?

its your boost/vacuum port (think thats the name)
basically you can use it for a boost/vacuum reading, a great place to use as a signal for your boost controller as its closest to the compressor.

Yea its made to run a boost controller or to the wastegate although if you have a FMIC it wont give you a true boost reading accounting for drop across the system, I just plug mine off.

Yep I hook mine up to that port and I see 3 psi diffrance but the controller works so much better there on a rearmunt just my .2
