370 and d1sc
im looking into building this combo for my 2000 ss. im trying to do this on a budget so i was thinking of the 370 from speed inc and the full d1sc kit with all fuel components from etp. i want to reuse my ls6 intake and buy a set of stock 6.0 heads. how much boost could i safely run with these heads? also how much power can this setup handle and what would my compression ratio be also? is anybody running this setup? any input would be greatly appreciated?
thanks, Brian

I didn't think anyone was selling 370's anymore. Are you buying a shotblock or a rotating assembly?
the 6.0 heads w/o milling usually drops a stock ls1 1 point of compression and be around 9.5.1 which is why they are popular for stock block FI guys. With a 370 you can change the compression to whatever you want based on the heads they can change up the pistions to fit your needs.

This ProCharger D-1SC kit has everything you will need, although to run 700+ rwhp you will need a larger fuel system. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com....html?item=798 Bob

I have a 370 with a D1SC. M6 car.
Weber Racing 370 (9.1:1 compression)
TEA stg 2 LS6 heads (studded)
LS6 intake
EPP blower cam
EPP FMIC
3.55 pulley @ 11psi.
Car made 683rwhp (belt was slipping bad at 5800 rpms)
Bout to get a new tensioner and a 3.4 pulley and max this baby out.

You probably could pick out whatever compressation ratio you like if you call them and talk to them. Tell them what heads you plan on using and they can guide you in the right direction.
In one of my previous builds I used the stock 317 heads on a 402 with a D1SC. The blower was maxed out at about 16lbs.
