tr8? Been screwing with my vette in between working on my nitrous car.
We were playing around with it with screens and I'm having issues getting kr down with stock compression (ls2) and 22 plus psi on meth and 93 (imagine that).
I managed to eat a tr6 after repeated abuse (motor is fine). I'm going to switch to a tr8 but this car is a daily....what gap are you guys starting with on a tr8 and have you ever fouled one on the street? I'm going to try torco octane booster too since I need to run 93.

The TR8's messed with my BCM and radio (They are non resistor plugs)....not sure if that will matter with your car
I burned up a TR6 also and now I run NGK BR7EF plugs at .030 for 15psi

I run this plug (also called a 7317) at .028 on the street and the track. Still on my first set from when I put the turbo together. I was blowing out the spark at .035 initially and just regapped them.
I use r5672a-8 in my daily driver gapped at .030. No fouling or misfires. I have run them for about 4500 miles so far and about 50 passes...same set.

Its all in the tune. I'm sure guys will come in here telling you they change them once a week because of fouling them on the street too.
Get the tune right and your not going to need to change them anymore than you would change any warmer heat range plug IMO.
