Turbo Efficiency Q...

Turbo Efficiency Q... When talking about what turbo would be better on a 400rwhp pre-turbo ls1, which is better and which is more efficient....a 60-70mm turbo or a 78-88mm turbo? Lets say the turbo would be running 5psi on pump gas and 8psi on race gas. And would a t-88 be very inefficient at only 5psi? 
yes a small turbo would be closer to the efficancy range.
My T76 didnt make much power only using 5psi (385rwhp)
now at 10psi it makes around 512rwhp, which is closer to the efficency range, i really need to be pusshing past 15psi to be in the middle of the range.
