KEYS to getting your FI car tuned Just thought I'd share my experience of taking my turbo car for a tune today. I spent all week making sure I had everything gathered up so everything would go as smooth as possible. I gathered all my paperwork, extra fluids, gas, race gas, plug wires, etc. I had set up to drop my car off almost 6hrs away. I woke up early and headed out. About 2hrs into the trip it hit me.....I had forgotten the KEYS to the car. As we found out it's impossible to push a car out of a trailor if the wheels aren't perfectly straight. Now I'm hoping USPS overnight comes through for me. With any luck next week at this time I'll be posting that fogetting my keys was the biggest setback of getting the car setup.
That sucks man, hope everything ends up working out for you. Thats my worst fear when going to the track, I actually have a written out checklist of things to bring to the track and the keys are on the list. I did that after going to the track once and forgetting the key to my lugs and couldnt swap tires out.
