Default GT4202 LS1 first time at track results

car was built by a local shop and owner contacted me to tune it for him.

first run out was on 6 psi 11.5 at 119....all foot brake passes. At this psi car did 465 rwhp and 480rwtq unlocked thru 80e and 9"

second run was on 8psi 11.3 at almost 122

last run was on 8 psi 11.2 at 121

not bad for first time out with setup for the owner. track was PRP in pennsylvania

the owner did the sy/ty shuffle and sees full boost.

He did however up the boost to 10psi and came out real aggressive, car hooked hard then blew tires off, he let out then got back into it and car still went 11.4 @ 125 with 1.87

Chris,

it is a t4 housing on a 1.15 AR. the car is very driveable and seems to work really well. pretty happy with the track results. i
f you have any questions feel free to PM as i would be the one who built the car. so far the customer has been pretty happy with results and knowing there is more in it. like anything just have to work some bugs out and improve it.

I wish I still had my GT4202. Mine was a t6 flange with the 1.15ar. I had to sell it when I lost my job towards the end of last year. I could of had something pretty nice running by now if I still had it.

were you put vehicle in neutral, rev it high with foot on brakes as rpms drop so does the pedal even futher to floor. put it back in drive and this allows you to see a few more psi at the line before you over power the brakes

I got a 4702 here, which is, far as I can see, a GT4202 compressor and a GT47 turbine. My one has an undivided .86 T6.
Looking at the map, there isnt much boost to be had before you fall off the map with a 4202 on an LS1, but it looks to be a quality low boost setup, nice to drive, good work!

car's final run this year went 10.55 at 130mph. pretty much untouched except for turning the boost up a little.
