Default Power difference ?

If u would build two of the same motor and supercharged one and turbocharged the other with the same amount of boost witch one would be more efficient to drive as a DD, and witch one would make more power ? and why !

Well I will find out, I was supercharged making 648 RWHP, No drive ability issues what so ever. I heard that it took app 100-150 HP to turn the supercharger @ wot due to the parasitic drag. So now with the turbo build and of course a turbo friendly cam I should theoretically make at least 100 HP more? we will see...

Airflow not pounds of boost are the true measure of power. Thats why a big turbo makes more power than a smaller one or same with blowers. But everyones knows turbos are more efficient than supers. How much exactly depends on many factors like type of blower, etc.

They all have their pros and cons which have been stated many many times on here.
But quick recap.
Turbos easier to vary the power output with a good controller .Can hit full boost at pretty low rpm depending on how you size them. Can have some lag again depending on how you size them. Are a bit more extensive install.
Supers build boost by rpm ,some have lots of bottom end mabye too much like roots or twin screw types and some don't have the top end like a turbo but again small turbo can be not that great at top end either.

Lots of variables. Both setups work pretty good and both have got great times and power increases. I like both, have had BBC with 6.71 blower in past. It was awesome, looked awesome ,sounded awesome. I have had turbo cars ,my 99 and my talons, even a turbo motorbike . I have ridden in and driven paxton supercharger lt1, ati supercharged lt1, ati supercharged ls1.Supercharged gtp. I like all of them. All have their own flavor like blonds, brunettes and redheads..all good.

My turbo 99 is very streetable car. It is very mellow off boost as chose to make it that way. 3.54 gear, mellow cam,9.5 compression, going to nice auto trans, all very streetable.
Car is pussycat off boost and tiger on it. Also not even that loud unless open the cutout.

And I do like the sound of turbos and blow offs. It sounds just like an f 16 eagle going by when you wind it up. And only problem with it is traction limited not power limited. But that is fine with me.
