I have the LS1 motorsports kit but its on a 2000 body style. The turbo works for the LS1 but i have no idea on the fitting issues with a 69. It was a tough fit for my car so i have no idea what modifications you will need to make.

Pretty much nothing will for except the factory cast iron manifold for the passenger side. I tried about a dozen different styles of manifold including a ghetto as hell turbo tech log manifold(which hits the control arm) before deciding to make nice headers out of stainless.
I tried truck stuff, Vette stuff, and all years of F body stuff. There's tons of room in the engine compartment, but it is in all the wrong places if you're trying to use 4th gen exhaust because of the upper control arms. Custom stuff is going to be the only real answer.

You could use two 98-99 header/manifolds turned upside down and backwards... cut off the flanges and weld on V band flanges and build from there, but they're not symmetrical and it will look retarted. And if you're fabricating that much, you could just as easily weld up some simple log manifolds from mild steel schedule 40 pipe and it wouldn't look TOO bad

sound like someone needs to get on the ball and start making this set up for these cars, alot of people are doing this or at least planing from what i heard (friends) . i might just go with the magna charger because of the ease of install , but nothing looks or sound like a turbo in my book .
