Default Still a newb :(

Hey guys, Im sure some of you voted on my poll regarding RWHP and compression. I am a newb here but not to motors, just never been in the 800 RWHP range and want to do it right. I have searched but haven't come across an exact boost reference. I am looking to push 12-14 PSI and am planning 9.0-9.5 compression in my 402. I will have a nice set of ported aftermarket heads too, just depends on what I need for a compression ratio at this point. The motor is fully forged, no expenses spared! Will the 12-14 PSI and around 9.5 compression get me around the 800 mark? With a decent tune do you think I will need meth to keep it together? No E85 here, only 93 octane.... Thanks, I'm sure alot of this has been covered already, sorry for not finding it on my own!

Yea, a 402 with good flowing heads and 14psi should get you in the 800rwhp range I would say. Meth cant hurt at all either. Dont be afraid of it.
