Default 98 exhaust manifold for turbo?

I tried a search. couldnt find anything conclusive.

Has anyone tried using one of these for the drivers side rather than a truck manifold.

For those of you familiar with what i am talking about, the 98 is stainless and looks closer to the truck manifold in reference to its exit location than the 99+ exhaust manifolds.

Help me out guys.

Thanks.

i was looking at a 98 pass exhaust manifold in the position that you would normally put a truck manifold. flipped facing forward.

i believe rice_etr did, but had faced it in the normal position then routed it around, he did this before he switched out to the c6 manifold and had a lot more bends. i think it hits or dumps it in the wrong spot if you face it forward, but if you got one put it on and see where it goes to make sure.

Something tells me that you may be right about the 98 pass manifold flipped. Does anything have one i can give it a go with?
