Problems with plug wires

I am having issues with the plug wires on my TT vette. The car is using aps manifolds. We have been using msd wires which didnt last very long before the melted and deteriorated at the plug end.I have installed the heat resistant fiberglass sleeves on new msd wires which lasted alittle longer but boots are still melting. Have any of you guys had this issue or does anyone know if they make a ceramic booted wire for a ls7 with allpro heads and katech coil relocators?

Gray boot MSD's are rated 200F lower than custom red boost MSD's or Magnacor red boots.

I burned up my granatellis on my aps car.I went to stock gm wires ,now gmpp wires with the stock heatshields ,no extra shielding and no problems really. Those stock heatshields with the springs talking about that are tubes that go over boots.
The granatelli had that 1200 degree shielding but it didn't work worth crap.
