Default valve spring question

ok finally got to ask a question here...so here it is...i got a 00 ws6 formula, im going to go single turbo on it im working on my parts list to see whats going to fit in the budget..21 in college so im not sleeping on money or anything..im thinking of going with a single t76 turbo i was looking at the turbonetics t-76 but its kind of pricey
parts list:
tial 38mm w.g.
synapse b.o.v.
255 walbro
6.0 lq4 swap??
ls6 cam
forged pistons
9.5 c.r.

i called a dyno shop and told them what i wanted from my set up basiclly i wanna run about 10lbs

he told me to get 60#injectors
and 921 springs i dont know if i really need the springs which is why im posting in the first place im only running the ls6 cam what are you guys running in your setups he also told me to run dual 255's in the tank it sounds like over kill to me but i have never done a turbo build what numbers do you guys think this will put down?

i daily drive the car for work and school if any body has any suggestions help me shed some light on my build i just got into the ls1 thing i was on the dark side for a while i still have my 351 fox

you can use Patriot dual golds, PRC's, or PAC springs.

With just an LS6 cam you could certainly get away with something like some PAC 1218s....

If you can afford it and see yourself doing a bigger cam at some point you might step up to the Patriots or PRC's..

I'm running 918's with a small 566 cam. So far it's been great!

I'm just running LS6 springs on mine. Stock LS1 with LS6 springs and upgraded pushrods. I run at 7psi and have almost 25k on my set-up in the 2 years it's been on the car. I DD it in the summer and roadtrip it to NY a few times a year. The LS6 springs are stronger than the LS1 springs and will be fine if you stay at low boost like I am at. But I think wtih 10lbs you may want something stronger. I was told if I upped the boost at all I would probably need to upgrade springs. But they are a great affordable alternative if you can keep your boost low. Since mine is on a manual spring in the wastegates, it is what it is and is not changing.

I have the 921's, aka same as the 918's just remade so they don't break so easy. The problems isn't the cam or the lift its that the stock springs wont hold the boost and will allow valve float. So as some guys above said, if money is a huge concern you can get away with going as cheap as the ls6 "yellow" springs. But if you have a little time, you can save some money on some good springs in the for sale section.
