Ls3 with 317 heads
Ls3 with 317 heads I am selling my 1999 LS1 which is a stock bottom end and 317's with 642 rwhp. It's been at that power level for about 3k miles and everything is great on it. But I recently picked a 04 Z06 and want to build it up.
I found a Ls3 Short block for $1200.00 complete with cranks/piston and rings. I figure I'll pick up about 30-40hp just do to the fact it is a bigger motor and would run the 317's again to lower the CR
I figure I'll be in the short block about $1800.00 by the time I buy oil pump,pan, chain and relector adapter.
What your guys feeling about how well it will hold up under the 11psi I am running now?
