so just to update on whats going on...

so we did the pcm swap and had some issues but i believe we tracked it down to the tune....
also went ahead and did a 3bar conversion
went with a different set of wheels and tires
changed BPV
changed IAT sensor to a threaded style
changed the charge piping....

Keep a good eye on the plugs. We used that intake elbow on a project and lets just say I'll never run one again.It is rated for 400hp and causes the outside cylinder to run totally different than the inside cylinders.You can actually take header temp readings at idle and see it.

Other than that everything looks real good.

all the plugs seemed fine... it is rated at 400hp for na but boost changes alot. what would you recommend running?

I used the intakeelbows.com one and it looks a lot more open on the inside

i run the elbow on my car but i cat that flap thing out of it thinking that was the problem with slowhawks car..it seems to work on turbo set up

It's working but not right.Your car had to be tuned on certain cylinders.This is why it's lasting so long.A reguler tune would of killed the motor already.

A sheetmetal like intake elbows .com.

When you get a chance take the header temps at idle.Our's were 100 degree's colder on 1,2,7,8. On a built NA car it was a 100rwhp difference.It tuned in fine but was low on power.

haven't posted any updates since we have been making some changes but
didn't want to make more posts without numbers but figure you guys would wanna know what has been happening.

so this is what we are changing and will probably be done end of week or early next week.

switch to TFS heads
droped compression to 9:1 from 9:8:1
switch BPV to Big Red procharger
switch PCM to newer one
switch complete exhaust to 1 7/8 ARH and 3in/ Stainless works exhaust
switched elbow to sheet-metal one (a lot more plenum volume)
adding wastegate and electronic boost controller.
also adding a small 35 shot and see if she likes it :*****:
and some mods to the hood etc...
