Is it worth it

I have a ls2 engine Is it worth it to change to forged pistons ann rods same size 4.005 and leave the stock crank for supercharge and big shot of nitrous

Yes It will allow you to run more boost and push things alot harder. I am running stock crank Callies pistons and Diamond Rods in my motor

Definitely go with forged pistons if thats an option! The pistons are the weakest link in the LS engines.

Well I would think the max of your stock pistons will be in the 550-600rwhp range. With good Pistons and Rods and supporting mods I have heard people running near 1000rwhp on stock cranks. I am making 630rwhp with stock heads still on my little 347 and 13psi
