Could Crank Pin Kit ruin my engine????

Could Crank Pin Kit ruin my engine???? ATI Performances kit has you pin the crank shaft on either side of the snout so in theory that should balance out, makes sense....
The Procharger pin kit I recieved has you dril and pin through the front of the crank snout. This worries me. Won't the crank now be out of balance and cause serious issues down the road or am I being paranoid???
They provide this pin kit will all the Vette kits apparently and I haven't heard anything about damage due to them but it still worries me.
Opinions??????

well thinking more about it I may have answered my own question. I guess as long as the pin is approximately the same weight as the material I drill out then things should be fine.
