Default APS Kit goes 8.57 at 154.47

Well, we hit Crandall today to tune on the car some more.
We are still at 16#s, but we linked the Eboost to the transbrake.
We are on the brake limited to seven pounds, as soon as we let go we go to 12 pounds, and .5 seconds later we go to 16 pounds.

New best 60 foot was 1.24

Since we saw the car was doing good, we decided to run the car out the back door to see what it would do in the 1/4

That pass:
1.279 sixty foot
3.570 at the 330
5.484 at the 1/8 at 128.29
7.149 at the 1000
8.578 at 154.47 for the quarter.

We did hit the limiter (7200) according to the log for a little bit.
(Expected on a 28 inch tire and 3.73 gears)

Many thanks to everyone who has helped me do this.

Matt G who built the car and had some incredible attention to detail. His work is top notch and the results speak to that.

Manuel B. for some mad welding skills and fab work.

Thanks to CJ, Johnatan, James V, and Ryan for the many hours of work on and off the track. They worked their magic on the suspension, and fine tuned the tune and eboost to maximize what we can do at 16 pounds. (I think we can go more, but we are out of injector right now)
We can't wait to go back and better our sixty foot and see if a 5.30 is possible.

Not bad for the APS kit and the little Black Formula that could.

To answer some questions, there is nothing crazy about the set up.
Hydraulic LME built 427, out of the box AFR heads. Same cam as my old nitrous set up. (244, 248, 115+2, XER lobes)
Edelbrock Super Victor intake, Edelbrock Elbow (The low rise one to clear the hood), 80# injectors, HPTuners tuned, Eboost2,
APS extreme kit, Coan Powerglide, PI 3600 stall (Left over from my nitrous set up), Moser 12 bolt, 35 spline axles, 3.73 gears.
Nothing exotic. Think we still have room for improvement.

In the FI world the APS kit is a knife at a gun fight, but we can try and make it a sharp knife.

Very impressive run! Why are you limited to 7lbs of boost on the brake? Sounds like you are using setpoint vs time so the first setpoint can be any duty cycle....is the converter holding the boost down?

Looks like if you had not hit the limiter....160's mph.

Car weighs around 3300lbs. We weighed it last year with nitrous on it but not with the turbo kit.

Is this the car on Nitro Dave's site dragging the bumper? I think that was a 370 nitrous car you mentioned that you drove or is this a different black car?

race weight...

I don't see it making over 1000rwhp. I hope I am wrong.
On the other kits out there (Big boy stuff) with turbos up front, you have more room for upgrades.

My race weight is right at 3400 with me in it (I am 200 pounds).
