What head gaskets for o-ringed block?
For the people that are running o-ringed block/heads, what head gaskets did you use? I heard the multi-layers aren't good to use since the wire will cut in the gasket. I'm running a 6.0 block and 6.0 heads (stock bore size) so I can't use any 5.7 gaskets.

Thanks!
Flat Out Gaskets look nice since they are coated but I didn't see any listed for a 6.0. I'll try to call.
I've heard many using Felpro on o-ringed SBC's and no problems. I wasn't sure if Felpro made a set for the 6.0 but I'll look into it.
As for copper gaskets (non coated), I use to run a set on my 496 BBC and had major leaking problems with coolant. I even tried a special spray on coating but it didn't help. Block was resurfaced and heads were new. I'd like to avoid any coolant leaks which is why the silicone coated gaskets look tempting.

Another way to ensure leak free coolins system on a high HP car is to run Evans coolant, it doesn't require any pressure in the cooling system, therfore less leaks since it isn't under 12-15 psi of pressure. Evans also cools much better than conventional coolant, perfect for high HP applications.
You can't go wrong with the Flat Out and Evans combo.
