OP, you might have the best luck if you list out:
-Your engine combo
-Turbo size
-Goal
-Car weight with driver
-Octane limitation
-Planned shift points

I got my gt7 for good price used which is another reason went to it.

And interesting on that vette..so that is your car ??? Never did see a dyno graph with the gt7 don't suppose you have one??? Curious to see how the gt7 did up top but that could be of course limited by the turbos. I guess have to find out for myself how it does next spring.
I bought the car a year ago from vegasredz06 on the corvette forum. Here is a link to the dyno run. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BtZPd...eature=channel
I have been basically making changes to it since I have had it. Leading edge performance in las vegas built the car but they did a couple things half *** and installed the twin disc mcleod clutch wrong-green spacers were left on the clutch pressure plate-they were supposed to be removed before installing the clutch, they are used for shipping purposes. I have the car all apart right now. I might start a rebuild thread on here about the car.

I contacted PatrickG and paid him the 25bux to spec me a cam for MY combo and needs. The generic internet recommendations always left me disappointed where Patricks did not.

That turbo is too small, what A/R? I think that's going to skew the results.

Yeah, John has a good point, you may wanna just sell the MP70 for now, use that money and use the money for the cam swap to get a TC76/TC78 or PT76. Then change the cam later, whats in the car now anyway? I looked thru the thread and didn't see it listed

It WAS an MS4 cam. This motor was never in my car. I was running a stock long block. So now that I have a Forged 370 I am ready to turn it up a notch, but I am out of $$ ... Is it going to run like crap with the T70 or simply not be optimal?

I was shooting for 550-600hp with the T70.. I don't really have the funds to upgrade right now, and even if I did, Im not sure if I would rather a bigger single, or just grab a used T70 and go twins.... (I'll be doing my own fab again anyway)

Thoughts on that??

Oh ok, so the forged bullet is outta the car. What's the lsa of the ms4 cam? If it's less than a 112, I'd probably just stick your stock cam back in the 370 for now if moneys tight or pick up a used ls6 cam for cheap. Wish I could find a good deal on a 370, soo many more cylinder head options with the larger bore.

The basics of my combo is a forged 348 bottom, gt7 cam, stock 853 heads, stock ls1 intake and a T70 with a p-trim exhaust wheel seeing 15psi and making 616rwhp - probably around 500-530ish thru a th400. With more cubes and an ls6 or similar cam I bet you'd hit your goal. Dyno numbers don't mean anything, especially with a th400

Yea the MS4 is a 111lsa .. Like I say, for now, I just want something pretty respectable on the street. I would be happy if I could sneak it into the 10s

for what it is worth, you may be able to go straigt across for a 224 or 228 cam with your MS4. People are always ready to step up from thoes two cams. At least the 224 or 228 would be a better fit for a turbo.
