Default valve springs for boost.

I seen in the sticky that patiot duals could be used but was wondering what everyone else uses. It will be stock bottom, stock cam, 317's and a D1sc with fmic set on 8# pulleys(I know, disaster waiting to happen). What are you guys with similar setups using?

A fresh set of LS6 springs on a stock cammed centrifugal setup will make it too 8psi, I would run at least 1218 PAC springs though.

I'm going to go with at least patriot dual gold's to be safe. I also heard that prochargers 8 psi pullies actually make about 10-11 psi. Any thoughts?

How much boost & how high are you spinning it?

That lift isnt too bad on that cam. You must be beatin the **** outta that thing to be blowin thru springs like that.

good choice you don't want to skimp on the valve springs..... Might even think of gettin the extremes just a little more doe. Might as well in case you decide to up the boost?

haha yeah... I'm going to try and keep it at 8 until I can forge the bottom end... I can get a replacement for cheap but don't care to pull an engine if I don't have too....
