Default Angry Goat in SOFLA

Nearing completion of the custom TT angry goat. Some recent pics. Just need fuel pump, injectors, reroute ebcm lines, run oil drain and return lines, remove everything to coat,...then tune. So many things going on right now, more then likely going to be another 2 months but, I figured an update is in order. Thank you to Race Parts Solutions, MIKETURBO, AA performance, and Florida Performance for getting us to where we are right now. Thanks to milke@diablosport for your input as well. My cousin Josh and I appreciate it. More to come in the future from our camp in this section soon.

For those that do not know, this is a stock MOTOR, fast intake car only. it's gone 12's on a non radial and a non slick regular street tire with cold air intake, fast, and a diablosport predator tune. We hope to make it a highway/1-mile killer. When the stock motor is done, built bottom end will follow. For now, 10ish psi will come out of the GT35R compressor wheels, turbo smart 38mm gates will hold them, treadstone air to air, and race parts solutions bov's. 80 pound injectors, drop in pump for now. Keep ya posted... Thanks again.

pretty cool, did you dice up a set of long tube headers to make your headers with? And do you have any pics now with everything coated?
looks good though.

How did you find the treadstone twin intercooler to be? I am looking at running the same one and was looking for any feedback on quality etc.

Thanks.

No results on this project yet, but have done others with other TS intercoolers with good results.

Thanks everyone. Headers were built by a fabrictor in florida but, ended up taking months and months. He did a great job but, what was promised in 2 weeks, ended up being 8, almost 9 months. We got tired of the constant,... " next week" bullshit. So all dude got done was the headers, which were nicely done. We told him where we wanted them, mapped it out, designed it to bolt to a stock exhaust. The down pipes and cold side where done by Florida Performance. All the parts were supplied by mike turbo and race parts solutions. Both companies in so fla. Awesome peeps.

With the PRI coming up, and the recent events in our family, time has escaped us for the rest of the year on all projects. Just no time. Need step back, catch up on some work-work, and get back into the cars in a month or two. Going on a cruise in a couple of weeks as well,.... need to get out of here for a little while. So, that said, in a month, possibly two months time, we'll see you boys in the dyno session. Might even be able to get the vette's together and on the rollers within this time frame as well.

...and thanks Rob(RAACCR), I appreciate that, and thank you for your help as well in the past, and probably in the future with random questions that I have every once in a while. These cars, it's just not possible to do it all on your own. I appreciate the knowledge and help that I have gotten over the past few years,......i've learned alot.

It appears that it's a nice looking intercooler. The intercooler in my vette though, an air to air as well, is just soo much lighter though. Not sure the weight difference. But, that aside, it seems to be a nicely done device. Obviously it's function is untested but, I doubt we'll loose too much on the pressure we plan on runnning. Once we have a built motor and go for stupid big power, we'll see how well it does then. Till then,... it'll probably be just fine bro.

Whats up sweet pea.

I'm sure Josh is down for whatever. The turbos are the german schweitzer turbos,... that mike turbo modified for me. Master power compressor housings, gt35r wheels, schweitzer exhaust housing. We're not trying to make crazy power, just something fun to drive daily ... and be able to run with the daily Porsche and Viper crowd on any average day. No matter what the car makes,.....it's gonna be a real sleeper.

I was going to relocate the pcm, but I never thought of putting it there. Thanks pimpin.

Jamie,

if you can, try to get some 'Ultra' Urethane motor mounts on ebay. They are 1/2 the size of the factory hydraulic mounts, and they really open up that area so you can work, and route the downpipes. Plus they are in expensive, $110 IIRC

Nory
PS you can feed that BS to some other joe. You guys won't be done/happy with the goat unless it goes 140mph+ in the 1/4 mile.

Tape to cover nipples, yes. Tape to cover headers,... no no no.

Lol. The headers have been done for a while so, they were coated,... pretty much prematurly. Then,. we added 02 bungs in the collectors so, they had to be recoated anyways. The tape, was put there in the effort to NOT scratch the coating but,.... it ended up being pointless anyways.

Everything is coming apart, and will be coated BLACK. Trying to keep this as low key and stealth as possible. The bottom of the intercooler will be black as well, since that is the only thing you see when the bumper is attached. This car is all about stealth. I know it looks wild underneath the hood but,.... we don't need to open that for anyone local.

Once they hear the Gates open, it should be too late to worry about it!

With a full 2.5 inch exhaust running back to the Borla tailpipes, it will be stealth!
