Paging "Chicken" Raymer! Did you air out the block yet, or are you going to take the easy way out and install the forged shortblock in the "chicken"? It would be just like you to take the easy way out and not have to clean the oil and LS1 guts off your engine bay...

Actually, I'm driving it everyday. Even in the snow right now.
First thing I'm going to do is change the valvesprings. Then I plan to see how far we can get with the stock engine before yanking it out. If that means I have to bypass the "chicken mode" and air the block to find out, so be it.
The SuperChicken may take the back burner for a few weeks though. We started building the twin turbo kit for the Viper today. Need to show Hennessey there's a new guy in town....
