2 z06 cam
Just get a used Z06 cam '03+ I believe is the better one. They are billet and shouldn't have any issues buying it used.
The stock 5.3/6.0 cam stops making power in the upper RPM range and a cam change is needed. They are simple to swap out with the engine on a motor stand.
Look up Parish who did a 5.3 turbo setup in a little Ford Fairmont. It went mid 9's repeatedly with a Z06 cam, upgraded injectors, better valvesprings, and MasterPower T70 turbo.
With larger turbos and a built motor people have made 1000rwhp with the stock Z06 cam. It works and will have a stock idle.

Here are some comparisons with various z06 cams and to my gt7 which pretty sure is made by comp for lingenfelter. I got it used so for the price can't complain. Now two cams can have similar specs but still some differences in lobe rates, ramp rates..
